VOLUNTEER QUILTER INFORMATION
The following is information about the quilts made in the name of
"Victoria's Quilts"
* The quilts must be durable
because they may have to be washed many times.
* The quilts should not have buttons, charms or dodads.
This is particularly important for a childs quilt.
* The quilts can be tied with yarn, ribbon or embroidery floss.
* All quilts will have a "Victoria's Quilts" tag.
All the quilts will be accompanied to the recipient with a card
explaining the orgin of Victoria's Quilts and
a place to note the makers of the quilt.
* If you are making a complete quilt under the name of
"Victoria's Quilts"
and donating the quilt in your community you will be
provided with a "Victoria's Quilts" Kit. See below.
* If you are making a complete quilt and want it donated
through Victoria's Quilts, mail it to the address below.
Your name will be signed as the maker of the quilt.
* If you are making a quilt top, mail to the address below.
Your name will be included as one of the makers of the quilt.
* The quilt size recommendations:
Adult = 48"-50" X 68"-70"
and Child/baby = 36" X 48".
* You choose the pattern you are most comfortable with,
just try to stay within the size requirements.
* The quilt should have a thin layer of batting so they
are not too heavy or bulky.
* The backing can be flannel(as suggested by the hospitals)
or cotton fabric, it can be pieced if necessary.
* LAST BUT NOT LEAST--

please call or e-mail for more information.
