About Us

Mission Statement: To provide handmade quilts to a specific cancer patient or treatment facility. By providing these quilts we hope to help the cancer patients feel "Just a Little Warmer and a Little More Comfortable©."

Victoria's Quilts© was founded in 1998 by Deborah Rogers in memory of Deb’s sister-in-law, Victoria Ann Morrison, who lost her battle with cancer. Victoria was a wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend.

I recall Victoria commenting about how cold she was during her chemotherapy treatment. Victoria was an avid quilter and made many quilts. She often said, “People aren’t perfect, why do quilts have to be?” Her comment helped me to overcome my fear of quilting, and encouraged me to establish Victoria's Quilts©. After Victoria’s passing I found comfort in the scripture, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9, NKJV). I have accepted Victoria's Quilts© as a ministry from the Lord.

Our quilts are reserved for patients with any type of cancer, anywhere in the United States. Quilts donated to a cancer treatment facility are kept by the facility or given to a patient. These quilts are never to be sold; they are not intended for profit, only for comfort and are identified with a Victoria's Quilts© label. A quilt is requested through our website.

Our workshop is located in Gardena, California. We welcome all levels of quilters and will gladly teach anyone who does not know how to quilt.

Our prayer in providing quilts to cancer patients is to help make them "Just a little warmer and a little more comfortable© .”

God Bless  you,
Deb Rogers
